Broad Functions
- Identify medium and long-term national development priorities for growth & poverty reduction.
- Coordinate the preparation, development, and implementation of National Development Policies and Plans.
- Provide guidelines and technical support for the preparation of sectoral, regional, and local council development plans.
- Lead the Integrate key International Development Frameworks into the National Development Plan.
- Produce periodic reports on the implementation of the National Development Plan.
- Closely work with non-state actors in linking their operational frameworks to the national development plan.
- Undertake relevant poverty-related research to inform development strategies.
- Organize regular roundtables for discussion of development policy papers and produce periodic Development Policy Bulletins
