Biography

Abdulrahman Kamara is a seasoned IT professional with a solid background in telecom
billing and IT infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the Institute of Public Administration and Management, University of Sierra Leone, and a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, People’s Republic of China.

Abdulrahman started his career at Millicom (Tigo), where he served as a Billing Officer. In this position, he managed billing servers, wrote and executed SQL scripts to retrieve and analyze Call Detail Records (CDRs), and ensured the seamless operation of the billing infrastructure. He later moved to the position of Senior Billing Engineer at Africell Mobile Company, where he took charge of managing the postpaid billing application and overseeing the performance and maintenance of billing servers. Currently, Abdulrahman holds the position of ICT Manager at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. In this role, he oversees all ICT-related activities and responsible for managing the ministry’s IT infrastructure. Abdulrahman is recognized for his technical proficiency, leadership in ICT, and commitment to optimize the digital operations of the ministry.
