PUBLIC INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
The key objective of the Public Investment Management is to develop a National Public Investment Policy (NPIP) and a National Public Investment Operational Manual (NPIOM). These documents consolidate and streamline all public investment and ensure that resources are allocated and utilized in a manner that ensures effectiveness and efficiency. They provide preliminary screening and project appraisal for development projects and providing technical advice to Government for project selection, budgeting and funding.
PIM establishes a comprehensive public investment projects database for information and enhancing solid analytical work and prepare and coordinate the execution of the Public Investment Program (PIP). We provide periodic reports on the implementation of public investment projects and facilitate the conduction of post evaluation and oversight on development projects and also conduct periodic assessments on Public Investment Management Systems using international tools.
